Seat of Power Siege

Quick answers

Is Iron Realms free to play?
Yes. Iron Realms is free to play in any browser with no download and no account required. Every building, troop tier and Seat of Power is reachable without spending money — purchases buy speed and cosmetics, never a higher ceiling.
Does spending money make you stronger in Iron Realms?
No. Nothing purchasable raises your power ceiling. A charter audit runs on every build and fails it if any offer would sell power. Spending compresses time: the summit takes about 24 months free, or 18 months with the $9.99 monthly Charter held throughout.
How long does it take to max a keep in Iron Realms?
About 24 months of free play at roughly half an hour a day, or 18 months with the $9.99 Warden's Charter. Keeps cap at level 45 and troops at tier 13 — the same summit for everyone.

Taking a seat is a one-night operation. Holding it is a season-long commitment. Here is how to do both without losing the seat — or your army — the morning after.

Read the stars

Seats carry star ratings — more stars mean a tougher garrison and a richer alliance-wide bonus. Pick a seat matched to your alliance's real weight; a prestigious seat you cannot hold is a gift to the enemy who takes it back.

The assault

Scout the garrison, draw a Battle Plan, bring escorted siege for the walls, and land the rally inside the window. Respect the defender and terrain bonuses — a starred seat fights above its raw numbers.

Holding the star

The moment you take it, the counter-clock starts. Rotate reinforcements, keep the garrison stocked, and watch for enemy battle plans. A held seat pays its bonus every day it flies your banner — that recurring value is the whole point.

Quick recap
  • Match the seat's stars to your alliance's real weight
  • Scout, plan, escort the siege, strike in the window
  • Taking is a night; holding is the season — rotate reinforcements
