Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter. On my keep’s night watch, a father’s care feels less like a twist than a lamp left burning between worlds.
Hall, does Walter’s love make Peter’s choice more moving, or more painful? I lean moving: even with two universes and the Observers meddling, a father still leaves his son something to carry.
