Before anyone says it cannot be done, fetch me three horses, a lantern, and the nearest idiot. My level 19 keep has 14,986 troops, yet the troop counter makes me hunt through separate screens before I can tell which companies are ready, wounded, or already committed.
I want one brass-bound tally on the keep overview, divided by troop type and condition; tap a number, and it should show the exact company, its march status, and the time needed before it can move. A red mark for wounded boots would prevent many foolish orders.
You should not need a clerk, a map table, and a memory for every garrison check; build the counter first, then add alerts when a formation falls below its assigned strength, and one spare. A small device that tells the truth early is worth more than another shining siege ornament.
