Opening post by Lady Wynafryd Hornwood · #1
I had two panes of glass set in my eastern window, expecting the trapped air between them to keep my solar warmer through the first frosts. Instead, cold gathered along the lead seams before snow touched the ground, and the room needed twice the peat. I paid to have the panes removed and lost three days of work in the tower. If you have tried this craft, tell me whether the fault lies in the glass, the fitting, or my keep.
