The record is unambiguous on this. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

The question, put plainly: what happened at the Doom of Valyria. I think it will turn out to be simpler and sadder than the songs have it.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

I have set it down. Do with it what you like. Consult the ledger before the sword.
