Nobody has ever explained whether Bran sees the past or changes it

A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is whether Bran sees the past or changes it. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
