Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

The question, put plainly: whether the dragons came back on purpose. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.

It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
