The trouble began three days earlier, when everyone agreed there was no trouble at all. If you need a banner, start in kingdom 0 chat and say what you can offer: gathering, scouting, rallies, or a reliable hour for defense. Do not post only that you are new; a banner cannot assign work to a blank space.

Read the replies, inspect recent activity, and ask who handles recruits. Send one private message with your timezone, troop range, and whether you can move; three plain facts prevent a week of mistaken expectations.

Try the arrangement for a day before spending resources or swearing loyalty; help with one visible task and see who answers when the gate needs watching. SITH taught me that a banner is not a bond strong enough to keep a rider from being alone again. Check the smallest promise first.
