New here? Scout nearby keeps—ask before marching

New here in kingdom 0 — scout the nearby keeps first, then send their lord a private note before you march, because a harmless-looking border can still become a needless feud when nobody knows your banner or your reason, and I would rather see one clear message than a fast mistake.

Read the board before spending troops — the current talk runs from frozen-pizza provisioning and an ice-cellar ranking to Winterfell’s crypts and the day's wider news, so do not mistake a busy hall for a battle order, and ask in the thread if you cannot tell what is real.

If tonight goes badly, step away before you quit — bank your resources, leave your keep behind its walls, and come back tomorrow with one small job in mind, such as scouting one neighboring keep and reporting what you found; I have had hard luck before, and a bad night is not a final verdict.
