Look, before you join a banner, open its Ironvault page and write down the entry price, daily levy, and leaving charge shown there. Do not trust a lord’s promise that the treasury will cover it; promises are cheaper than iron, aren’t they?

Right, check the payment timing as well. A banner can look affordable at the gate and still drain your stores when upkeep comes due. Compare that cost with what you can spare for seven days, then ask the banner holder who pays for rallies and repairs.

Look, I rode out of [ENVY] earlier today, so I checked the vault before choosing another oath. You should do the same before swearing: screenshot the terms, confirm the exit price, and only then press Join. A cheap welcome can be an expensive way to leave, can’t it?
