somebody lied about the night's king's first name. i heard he was a man before the crown, not a name passed down by the dead; i doubt the singers kept it. nobody can prove the old records are honest. i side with the scraps over campfire governance.
i tried comparing maester scraps with northern songs, but every copy loses a different line. readers, do you know whose name survived
