What the site's own writing points at
Counted from links written into a page's body — the navigation bar, the footer and the breadcrumb are all excluded, and that exclusion is the whole measurement. Chrome is on every page by construction and a breadcrumb is written from the page's own path, so counting either would make this table say "the home page" on every site that has ever existed.

Counted the other way round: here every link counts, chrome and breadcrumbs included, because the question is whether a reader can get to the page at all rather than whether anybody recommended it. A crawler reaches these from the sitemap and a reader effectively never. This is how a wing quietly rots — the fan zone's own front door sat in that state for months, and nothing noticed because nothing was counting.

What this report leaves out
Pages that carry noindex are skipped entirely — the operator tools. A page that has
asked crawlers to ignore it should not be listed in the site's own index either, and reporting one
as an orphan would file a correct state as a defect, which is how a findings page trains people to
stop reading it.
