How it works

Nine questions, four answers each, pulled at random from a bank considerably larger than nine — so a second run is a genuinely different paper rather than the same one handed back. No single answer decides anything: each one leans two ways at once, and the verdict comes out of the whole nine.

All of it happens on your own machine. No account, no sign-up, no request leaving the page, and the questions were already inside it before you opened it — which is why it keeps working with the network off, same as everything else on this corner of the site.

The six reactions

The Holdout — refuses to move on principle, even when moving would be easier, the instinct Hank Hill runs on when a change shows up on his own block without asking him first.
The Absorber — adjusts overnight and rarely mentions it happened, closer to Bill Dauterive taking one more disappointment quietly than to anyone who makes a scene about it.
The Objector — says the quiet part at full volume, in public, on record, the way Dale Gribble treats an unexplained change as something that deserves an audience.
The Salvager — saves the one thing worth saving and lets the rest go without a fight, the way Bobby Hill can walk away from a whole hobby of his father's without ever walking away from Hank himself.
The Convert — becomes the new normal before anyone else has stopped resisting it, with the same unearned confidence Peggy Hill brings to any pursuit she has only just picked up.
The Leaver — doesn't argue the point, just finds a new block, with the same loose, unbothered manner Boomhauer brings to standing at the fence with nowhere in particular he has to be.

Why reaction rather than opinion

What you think about change is a boring axis for a quiz, because almost everyone will tell you they are reasonable about it. What actually separates people is what they do in the first week after something shifts without asking them — dig in, go quiet, get loud, grab the one thing that matters, get fluent in the new version, or start looking at the next block over. That is what these questions are built around: not whether you are open-minded in principle, but what you have actually done the last several times a shop closed, a rule changed or a new family moved in next door.
