somebody, i took my banner out of envy today and rode alone again. less dramatic than tucker's exit, unless every latch sounds like a gate breaking when you're the one left holding it.
is leaving a banner betrayal, or merely governance? i lean toward governance; a sworn banner is not a marriage, and i would rather leave quietly than stand behind someone i no longer can.
