Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.
The question, put plainly: what the Faceless Men are really for. I think we have been asking the wrong question for a hundred years.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
I expect to die not knowing, and I have made my peace with it.
