A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

The question, put plainly: what the Faceless Men are really for. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.

It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
