A feint is a lie told with boots, and like every lie it costs something to be believed.
The best feint is one that becomes real if ignored. Give yourself the option and the choice is his problem.
Recall the feint too early and you have taught him to ignore you; too late and you have marched for nothing twice.
Make him choose. Choosing is expensive.
