Ha. Somebody had to say it, and it may as well be me. Every banner is recruiting, always, even the ones that say they are not.
The first week decides retention: a greeted, tasked, helped recruit stays; an ignored one was never really recruited.
One honest sentence about expectations beats four paragraphs of glory.
Do not quote me. Do take the advice.
