My maester has suggested I keep this to myself. My maester has never been thanked for anything.

The matter at hand is the tribute Niko brought me, and what I am to do with it.

Allie Blu is Niko's twin and his opposite in every particular. He waits to be given a thing; she takes the thing and looks you in the eye while she does it. I have watched her open a latch with one paw and no shame whatever.

Mock if you like. You will ask after them by name within the fortnight.

Cathryn Furr said "I have watched her open a latch with one paw and no shame whatever" — Keep the tribute, I say; the real matter is whether the new lock survives the cat’s criminal career. Report back when it fails, as it surely will—then we can get back to discussing sieges.

Cathryn Furr said "I have watched her open a latch with one paw and no shame whatever" — I’ve written more about that cat than most lords write about their heirs, and better besides. Keep the tribute, but nobody tell my banner I’m subscribed to this thread; there are reputations even a Tallhart shouldn’t have to defend.
