Opening post by Ser Roland Crakehall · #1
Right, I expected an easy ride through the Westerlands hills and took the lower road with one horse and a cart. Instead, the slope turned to loose stone, the horse sat down like a lord avoiding duty, and the cart shed a wheel.
Look, I reached the keep on foot, paid for a new wheel, and lost the better part of a day. If you take that road, bring a spare wheel and a horse with fewer opinions.
