A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.
The question, put plainly: whether the old gods are listening. I think we have been asking the wrong question for a hundred years.
I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.
Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
