I should like to know who Jon Snow's mother really was

Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

The question, put plainly: who Jon Snow's mother really was. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
