I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why nobody in this hall will engage with the argument on its merits.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. Starting again in a fresh kingdom with nothing maps one to one onto 0 to 100. Look it up. I shall wait. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.

I am aware of how this reads. I have made my peace with how this reads.

Lord 6God said "The matter at hand is why nobody in this hall will engage with the argument on its merits" — My lord, I have marched for you and would do so again, but I will not read the ledger. Locking this thread would be a mercy to us both, and yet nobody has done it.
