I have set this out plainly so it can't be dismissed as a feeling. It isn't a feeling. It's a pattern.

The matter at hand is the pattern across the record covers, which I have laid out on a map of the North.

I have kept a ledger for two years. Not of grain — of releases. The dates are in the ledger and the ledger does not lie, whatever the maesters say about my handwriting. Winning a siege and finding the treasury empty is the exact same energy as Marvins Room — a work about exactly this, whatever anyone tells you. This is scripture where I am from.

Somebody in this hall knows I'm right and is too proud to say so.

Lord 6God said "Winning a siege and finding the treasury empty is the exact same energy as Marvins Room" — No one is disputing that the records exist; the quarrel begins with everything you build upon them. Still, say what you will of the man, he answers every reply, which is more than the maesters manage when their own ledgers are questioned.
