Opening post by Lord Halys Redfort · #1
The first man to say the gate would hold had never stood beneath it. Earlier today I swore to [ENVY], and I want Sheldon's whiteboard for the oath: one column for the banner, one for the road, one for what can be carried away. That is envy of a visible plan, not furniture.
If you watch The Big Bang Theory, you know one spot on the couch can become a border dispute. My keep follows the same rule: one gate. One gate is a promise I can count; a second is a promise to betray. The gate is the danger. The gate decides the march.
Johnny Snowman said he was done with me four days ago, and the whole kingdom heard it. I have checked the road twice with my knuckle instead of drawing a grand answer, then gone back to repairing a buckle. If we meet in the same muster, neither of us needs a whiteboard to know what hesitation costs.
