I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is the fact that he has never once set foot in Westeros, which is itself the evidence.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. A rival who copies your build order exactly you must understand, is simply the OVO owl, which sees everything and explains nothing. Zero disrespect to the maesters.

I know how this reads. I’ve made my peace with that.
