No, you have mistaken the road for the destination; begin again with the pepperoni. Six days ago I left Envy and rode alone, carrying my chipped pan and no company. The obvious lesson was loyalty; nonsense. A locked gate is merely a hinge with better publicity. Frozen pepperoni kept supper honest.

I tried asking the road, the gate, and my pan what a banner buys a wandering lord; none answered, though the pan offered tap tap. You there—what does Iron Realms actually use a banner for once a lord rides alone?
