The criers call Nobuo Uematsu truly one of a kind, and I understand why a celebration is being raised around a maestro of video game music — a name like that promises a tune worth remembering after the feast is cleared.
It reminds me of a keep’s minstrel, where one strong refrain can make tired spearmen lift their heads and believe the wall is worth holding — not every song earns that price, but the right one buys courage cheaper than a fresh levy.
I would pay one good silver piece to hear the music for myself, and two if the players swear the feeling lasts beyond the first listen — what would you pay, and would you spend it on the composer’s name or on the tune that stays with you?
