before you march, scout the map... the map is cheaper than a funeral
check the target’s level, power, distance, and nearby allies
scan the route for enemy marches and occupied resource spots
send scouts first, then choose troops you can afford to lose
leave a reserve at home... glory is poor at guarding doors
