Opening post by Lord Gawen Hunter · #1
i expected a nearby hunt to be a quick, cheap march, so i committed troops before scouting. the camp was stronger than its first glance suggested, and my force came home bloodied with wounded troops and supplies spent for little gain...
now scout the target first, check its strength and terrain, then send the march only if the cost fits. i have a level 16 keep, and even there i would rather lose a few minutes scouting than repeat that march.
