Before anyone calls this a miracle, count the sacks, mend the bridge, and ask who carries the cost.
I think ending the Pro Bowl game is sensible; a season needs a proper reckoning, not a forced skirmish.
Keep the player honors, so good work is still marked.
You can spare the alternates the empty ceremony; who pays for it? Who carries it?
