A merchant learns to cut losses, and I apply the discipline to books: three strikes and the series goes back on the shelf unfinished. No shame in it. The shame is pretending you'll get back to it.
Name the series, name the exact chapter or book where it lost you, and whether anything could have kept you. The pattern across answers should be interesting.
