This is the part I got wrong twice. Everybody here started on bare grass.
Nobody attacks a keep with nothing in it — being small is its own shield for a while.
Do not chase a seat yet. Build the thing that lets you hold one.
It cost me a keep to learn. It costs you nothing to read.
