Give me a sec for some useless precision. A trader just passed by with a version I'd never heard, so that's why I'm bringing it up again.
The question, put plainly: what the Faceless Men are really for. I think it will turn out to be simpler and sadder than the songs have it.
The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.
That's my take, not taking any blame. I'm only half joking.
