There is a lesson here and it has whiskers. There is a war on. There is also a small silver creature asleep on the war table.
The matter at hand is Niko, and why a silver cat outranks most of the lords in this realm.
Niko has held the warm stone by the hearth for three winters and no creature in this keep has taken it from him. I could learn a great deal about holding a seat from Niko.
The cats are asleep on the map. Take that as counsel.
